Questions people actually ask

Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. The 14-day trial runs at Pro-level limits so you can actually build something real before deciding — no card, no auto-charge at the end.
Do you take a cut of listing-upgrade revenue?
No. When a business upgrades to a premium or featured listing through your directory, that money is yours — Beacon's fee is the flat subscription, nothing else.
What happens if I cancel?
Your directories stay live and stay indexed — they just go read-only after the grace period. No listing, contact or automation data is ever deleted on cancellation.
Do I still need GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, or a separate CRM?
No. CRM, contacts, automations, email sending and the AI layer are all native to Beacon. The whole point is not paying for (or configuring) a second platform.
What if I go over my plan's limits?
You'll see a clear prompt to upgrade before you can add another directory, listing or email past your plan's allowance — nothing is silently blocked or throttled.
Can I run more than one directory on one account?
Starter is one directory. Pro gives you five — handy if you're running a few towns or niches. Agency is unlimited, with white-label branding.
